Betty White fans’ prayers have been answered. The Golden Girl alum confirmed to People that she will be appearing on Saturday Night Live in the near future. Although just a few weeks ago Betty, 88, called the idea “ridiculous,” she confirmed the news at Elton John’s annual Oscar bash Sunday night telling the mag, “Yes. I don’t know why or how” adding the support’s been “wonderful.” After appearing in one of the biggest Super Bowl commercial’s of the year, a Facebook page was launched, serving as a petition to land Betty a hosting gig–it scored over a million fans! It is still unknown when White will appear on SNL , although Entertainment Weekly has speculated that she may appear in a  “Women of Comedy” episode alongside former cast members, Tina Fey , Molly Shannon and Amy Poehler .

Jersey Shore star, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley has a killer body, and it’s nothing but a busy work schedule that helped her get into shape. “I actually have not worked out since the show,” the reality star told People magazine while celebrating her 25th birthday Saturday night at Las Vegas’ Palms Casino Resort. “I honestly think it’s just sleep deprivation and just running around and being very active,” JWOWW added. As for whether or not she plans to get even more bikini-ready for the next season of Jersey Shore , Jenni says, “I think I’m good right now.” “I don’t want to change that much for the second [season]. I still want to be myself, and if being myself is lazy, then that’s great.” Although none of her costars helped her ring in the big 2-5 in Vegas, JWOWW tells the mag they all called to wish her a happy birthday–and Snooki even sang over the phone!

The vacation is over for Angelina Jolie who has been trekking around Europe with Brad and their six kids the last few days. Angelina is back to work on the set of her new movie, The Tourist , where she plays an Interpol agent. Jolie was spotted looking luxurious in a cream suit while filming Tuesday at Paris’ famous Place Colette. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt ’s been busy helping out the French economy with a little daddy/daughter time! Brad took his girls, Shiloh and Zahara on a shopping trip to the Bonpoint collection of children’s boutiques on the Rue de l’Université in the city’s Left Bank. “Zahara chose very girlie outfits, but Shiloh only wanted items from the boys’ collection, which is in another boutique across the street,” a source tells People magazine. After their successful shopping trip, Brad and the girls met up with Angelina on set. The Tourist hits theaters in 2011.

It’s been 18 months since first-time mom, Jessica Alba , gave birth to her daughter, Honor, but the scars and suffering are still very clear in the actresses’ mind. “Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had,” Alba tells the February issue of Self magazine. “So I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the sagging boobs. I’ll take the cellulite I can never get rid of.” But the 28-year-old actress, who recently looked super-svelte at the People’s Choice Awards , doesn’t seem to mind her new flaws. “If you walk around with your head held high and you’re happy and positive, then all that other stuff is irrelevant. Confidence is number one.” But, on the rare occasion when Jessica needs to blow off a little steam, she says her little girl is the key to feeling better: “Honor is the best cure for stress,” she tells the mag. “When I spend time with her, I get instant perspective. I can be hard on myself if I don’t do everything perfectly. But now that I have her, there’s no time for that. I want to teach her that you can learn from your mistakes, and if you keep moving and stay positive and loving, everything will work out.” Jessica’s new romantic-comedy, Valentines Day , hits theaters Feb. 12.

She’s a little bit country, and now a little bit primetime. Carrie Underwood will be making a guest appearance on the CBS hit, How I Met Your Mother , People reports. Sources tell the mag that newly engaged Underwood will be playing Tiffany, a pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted (Josh Radnor), during an episode set to air sometime in March. Carrie is the latest celeb tapped to make a guest stint on the comedy series. Rachel Bilson and Stacy Keibler will star in the show’s 1ooth episode airing Jan. 11.

A private memorial service is set to be held for actress Brittany Murphy on Christmas Eve. After Monday’s autopsy report, Murphy’s body was released to Forest Lawn memorial park’s care, a coroner source has confirmed to the Daily News . Bette Davis, John Ritter and Lucille Ball are also all buried at the Hollywood park. The exact cause of the 32-year-old’s death will not be available for four to six weeks pending additional toxicology and tissue tests. Sources tell People that a larger memorial service is to be expected sometime after the new year.

Johnny Depp, the actor who was chosen as the Sexiest Man Alive 2009 by the People Magazine, is in Japan to promote his latest film. Depp reached Japan on 8th of December and was welcomed by large group of fans. The Pirates of the Carrebbean star was greeted by over one thousand fans holding signs that read “Welcome to Japan” and “We love Johnny”. According to a report from Jiji.com his fans stood for hours at the Narita International Airport to get a glance of the star’s arrival. The next morning the star held a press conference at a hotel to promote the film Public Enemies. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters of Japan on December 12th. Depp was overwhelmed by the welcome and he conveyed it by praising Tokyo as a beautiful and fun city. This is his 6th visit to the country. Depp added his last visit to Japan was two years back. Johnny Depp will be participating in the Japan premiere of Public Enemies on Dec. 10th.

  According to the AP , Alicia Keys’ first visit to Africa was so emotional that she wants to take 5 people to Africa with her so they can experience what she experienced. Keys said, “I was able to see the great separation between have and have not.” The contest will be through her charity, Keep a Child Alive. Fans can enter the contest online at the foundation’s website. The winners will travel through Africa with Keys for five days next year.

When the mother model was asked about her newest addition, daughter Lou, she said, “She’s great. We’re so excited that we had a little girl. Especially (older daughter) Leni is super-excited. (Lou’s) in our room at night. Leni is waiting for her to go into her room. Her brothers share a room and she doesn’t have anyone in her room”. The 36 year old German Model, Klum, earlier was scheduled to host the desired fashion show on November 18. But she walked down the runway on November 19 simply enthralling the crowd. During the show, the models flashing in two part under wears, walked down a jet-black, diamond-dusted V-shaped runway while the Black Eyed Peas performed. The show began with Ambrosio walking first in neon wings, with Miranda Kerr following in over sized space-like armored wings along with Peas’ Boom Boom Pow. Ambrosio, who was lounged on a sofa before the show, said, “I have three houses and they are packed with lingerie. I don’t even try to count”. Girl, this proves you simply love your job. The Victoria’s Secret fashion show will be aired on December 1st on CBS at 10 p.m.

The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled DJ Adam Goldstein’s death as an accidental overdose. “We’ve done the testing and investigation in conjunction with the NYPD and in our opinion this was an accidental overdose rather than suicide,” a rep from the examiner’s office confirmed to People magazine. The celebrity deejay, better known to most as DJ AM, was found dead in his NYC apartment on Aug. 28 . Some of the drugs reported to be in his system at the time of death included cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, Ativan, Klonapin and Xanax. He was 36.

Jude Law is a a dad yet again! Law’s “ex-girlfriend,” model Samantha Burke gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday night, a friend of her family confirms to People magazine. “I doubt Jude was there,” the source told the mag. “Besides the financial support, he’s not involved. Samantha is doing well” After reports surfaced that 24-year-old Burke was expecting, a rep for Law released the following statement: “Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. “Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.” This is the fourth child for Jude. He and ex-wife, Sadie Frost have three children together.

DJ AM, whose really name is Adam Goldstein, was found dead Friday afternoon in his New York City Apartment. Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ that DJ AM had not been seen or heard from in days, when a friend decided to check on him. When he did not answer, police were called and forced to knock down his apartment door, upon which Goldstein’s body was found. Drug parapheralia and prescription pill bottles were reportedly found inside his home. In September ‘08, DJ AM and Travis Barker were the sole survivors of a plane crash in South Carolina that killed four people . He was 36.

They may be hot and heavy on-screen in the upcoming drama, The Last Song , but Miley Cyrus says she and costar Liam Hemsworth are not dating, despite what reportedly happened when the cameras stopped rolling.
