The third season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is sure to be more dramatic than ever–first with the news of Kim’s newest love interest, and now NeNe’s son! Bryson Bryant, the eldest son of NeNe Leakes was arrested March 7 on a marijuana possession charge, and placed in an Atlanta area jail. Bryant appeared in the first season of the hit Bravo show, and was seen looking at colleges with NeNe. The eccentric housewife released a statement about her son’s arrest, and called the situation a “family issue.” “Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner.” “My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse,” Leakes continued. “I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.” NeNe also took to her Twitter page to speak out about the incident: “Morning! I know my parenting job is NEVER DONE but TOUGH LOVE is ordered by the JUDGE! The judge [in] this case is ME. My head is up & held high this morning because I KNOW the parent that i’am! U hate 4 yo kids 2 make mistakes! TOUGH LOVE this morning.” Leakes is expected to appear on Bravo’s Watch What Happens live on Thursday night–we expect she’ll have speak her mind there too!

  The always outspoken Roseanne took to her blog to express her feelings about the tragic suicide of Marie Osmond’s son, Michael Bryan. Here’s what she had to say: “marie osmonds poor gay son killed himself because he had been told how wrong and how sick he was every day of his life by his church and the people in it. Calling that “depression” is a lie! Yet the Osmonds still talk lovingly about their church, saying nothing about its extremely anti-gay Crusade. Marie also has a gay daughter! Hey, I want her and all the gay kids in the world to know that they are just fine being gay and that they deserve love and respect instead of insults and rebuke! I have gay people in my family and my circle of friends and I am kicking bigot ass and taking names! That is how its done in my religion—(I have my own religion that I made up for myself and it is a great religion that actually works and respects facts and not fantasy!) Gerald Lund one of the ex church apostles has three gay kids himself. Yet, even though the people they say they love the most in all of their public displays and speeches (THEIR KIDS AND FAMILY!!) are gay,– their own children,for crying out loud- these people cannot find the christian decency and compassion within themselves to stop their hypocritical gay bashing!! How sickening. I know so many mormon kids who were gay and committed suicide, and I just cannot and will not stay quiet in order to not offend bigots anymore. It is all so terribly depressing. Marie please don’t talk about how your faith in your church has helped you get through this one! Please get some integrity and tell that church of yours that you will leave it and stop giving it ten percent of your money if they don’t stop trying to destroy your kids’ and all gay people’s civil rights and dreams and hopes!! G-d is trying to use you for something good and this is your opportunity! Your church is wrong and on the wrong wrong wrong side of things! Get as vocal about that as you are about your diet. G-d bless you too, Marie. Take a hard look at the facts now as you use this very sad time for introspection, healing growth and prayer, and become a strong symbol for loving mothers who make no apologies for hatred against their own kids!” yes i know that people get mad at me for the things i say here that they think are insensitive and unkind. I say what I think needs to be said, though, and I always will, even if nobody listens. I really could care less. My opinion is my own and is well thought out. I decided a long time ago that I would not cower and stay silent when I feel things are wrong, whether it wins me fans money or praise or the opposite of those things. I am not a wimp, I am no democrat!” I’m speechless!

  A man named Dannez Hunter is suing Quentin Tarantino for allegedly stealing his idea for Kill Bill. Hannez claims that back in 1999 he submitted a treatment to Miramax about a character named Ren who witnesses her mother’s murder, specifically the knife through her abdomen, etc. He also claims that he applied for a job at Miramax but “was never given a return phone call, as numerous similar situated less qualified Jewish and White people were bestowed job after job after job.” He wants over a million dollars, saying he was denied royalties in the Kill Bill series. Wasn’t Kill Bill based on ideas from a Japanese film? Good luck with this lawsuit, pal!

According to eonline, Miley Cyrus has confirmed what we already know: that Liam Hemsworth is her boyfriend. Miley did not take Liam to the Oscars as he had a prior engagement for the AIDS Foundation, instead she took her mother. She did meet up with him at the AIDS Foundation later. They do make a cute couple!

  Tom Hanks is one of few actors to receive the honor of getting a Time Magazine cover this week. In his interview, he talks about his upcoming projects, including the HBO World War II miniseries, The Pacific and a TV project about the JFK Assassination, which he claims is one of “the most controversial things that has ever been on TV.” Wow!! We are definitely intrigued. Here are some highlights from the interview: On growing up around the military: “Growing up I always knew Dad was in the Pacific somewhere fixing things. He had nothing nice to say about the Navy. He hated the Navy. He hated everybody in the Navy. He had no glory stories about it. My idea of history was just a course you had to take. Strange to think I’ve become the World War II guy. We all lived in naval housing and everybody who was like a primary care giver to me talked about The War. But when it came to understanding the history, I nodded off.” On the correlations between WWII and today: “From the outset we wanted to make people wonder how our troops can reenter society in the first place. How could they just pick up their lives and get on with the rest of us. Back in World War II we viewed the Japanese as ‘yellow slant-eyed dogs’ that believed in different Gods. They were out to kill us because our way of living was different. Does that soud familiar by any chance to what’s going on today? At least the Pacific War Soldiers coming back form WWII decompressed on ships for weeks. And then once the troops arrived portside it was often a long train ride home to Peoria. Today these guys in Afghanistan fight in bloody hell and then are flown back in 18 hours. How can they cope with that? How can they suddenly go from Tora Bora to Peyton Place?” On his JFK Assassination Project: “We’re going to do the American public a service. A lot of conspiracy types are going to be upset. If we do it right it’ll perhaps be one of the most controversial things that has ever been on TV.”

Despite gaining over half a million followers on Twitter in just a few short weeks, Conan O’Brien didn’t share the love…until now. Sarah Killen, known to the Twitter world as @lovelybutton, got the surprise of her life Friday when she became the first person for Conan to follow on his Twitter page! “I’ve decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change,” the former talk show host Tweeted. Twi-hards brace yourselves. New Moon director, Chris Weitz, has gotten his hands on the script for this summer’s Eclipse , and promises it will not disappoint. “I’m looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say,” Weitz tells People . “That’s going to be very steamy.” Any avid Twilight reader knows that the infamous “tent scene” will show a freezing cold Bella ( Kristen Stewart )  cozying up to scorching hot werewolf Jacob ( Taylor Lautner ) while trying to escape the evil vampire Victoria. Of course things heat up even more as Bella’s loving vampire boyfriend Edward ( Robert Pattinson ) looks on with extreme jealousy. “I have a special interest in seeing Peter and Elizabeth tear people’s heads off,” Weitz adds of the film’s vampire parents, Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli. “Knowing them, and how kind of kooky and delightful they are, I’m going to find seeing them being ultra-violent very interesting indeed.” Weitz is taking a step back for the series’ third film, as director David Slade will be taking over. Eclipse hits theaters June 30.

  Cleveland Cavaliers baller Lebron James has filed paperwork with the NBA to change his uniform number from 23 to 6. King James will probably say the switch is to distance himself from Michael Jordan, which is understandable. However, the change will no doubt send Lebron fans into widespread panic, causing them to buy anything and everything with his old and new number on it. Bottom line, the NBA is going to be make TONS of money off of this.

  BBC presenter Kristian Digby was found dead at the age of 32 in his East London apartment on Monday. The cause of death is said to be the result of auto-erotic asphyxiation, the act of cutting off oxygen to the brain for sexual arousal. Authorities are classifying his death as “unexplained” since detectives do not think it was suicide. Kristian was pronounced dead at the scene. Here’s what Kristian’s agent, Jo wander had to say: “I am devastated by the loss. He was a lovely guy and a very talented presenter,” Here’s what BBC had to say concerning Kristian’s death: “Kristian was a much-loved and talented presenter. He brought a real sense of energy and warmth to all the shows. Our thoughts are with his family.” Digby started hosting To Buy Or Not To Buy in 2003 and moved on to present Holiday , Living In The Sun and That Gay Show . That must be one awesome way to die. Nevertheless it is still very sad.

Ozzy Osbourne was given the key to the city of West Palm Beach , Florida earlier today (Friday, February 26) by Mayor Lois Frankel , who even noted in her remarks that she was a big fan of “The Osbournes”, the VH1 reality show which introduced the world to his wife Sharon and his kids Jack and Kelly. Osbourne accepted the key and made a few quick remarks of his own, including one about seeing if Ozzfest — which was bumped down from a tour to a single-date show in Dallas in 2008, and then canceled in 2009 — could return to Palm Beach County this year. Hundreds cheered and chanted “Ozzy! Ozzy! Ozzy!” as the rocker retreated to his SUV and took advantage of a Florida Highway Patrol escort to his next stop, the Barnes & Noble Booksellers at Legacy Place in Palm Beach Gardens, where he would sign copies of his new autobiography, “I Am Ozzy”.

  Rihanna was recently asked if she would ever do a collaboration with Lady GaGa. Here’s what she had to say: “A collaboration between GaGa and myself would be really cool because we do a similar type of music and we both really love fashion, so I’m sure it’ll be a hot video. I would love to collaborate with her.” Rihanna also said she would like to do a duet with cutie pie Taylor Swift, but we think it would probably take a little more of the safe route than with Lady GaGa.

  Lindsay Lohan’s proud papa Michael Lohan is commending his daughter for coming clean about her alcohol and cocaine abuse, but denies that Lindsay hit rock bottom when he started to go public with the media and stands by his claims that her real issue at the moment is prescription drug addiction. Here’s what Micheal had to say: “While I’m very happy that Lindsay is beginning to come ‘clean,’ the truth of the matter is I went public when she hit rock bottom. SHE DID NOT GO ROCK BOTTOM WHEN I WENT PUBLIC… “And while I find her admissions of her experiences with alcohol and cocaine to be noble, the REAL PROBLEM still exists with the prescription drug use that the so-called ‘addiction specialist’, therapist and doctors are prescribing… to Lindsay.” “Lindsay and my other children were torn apart because they lost the stability of a family…The problem for Lindsay and so many others is prescription drug use… “I will not stop (speaking out) until I finally get my daughter off of all the prescription drugs which she never needed and doesn’t need no matter how much I get bad mouthed or slandered by the people out there who aren’t so perfect themselves… I will do ALL I can to make things right, even if it costs me, or is at my own expense!” Michael still believes the messy divorce between him and Dina caused Lindsay to spiral out of control and declares he won’t shut his trap until Lindsay is back on track.

  Lindsay Lohan gave an exclusive interview to the UK’s Sun newspaper yesterday and here are some highlights: On her worst times: “When my father was going public, that’s when I hit rock bottom. I abused substances too much and it wasn’t the answer to my problems. On her coping mechanisms: “I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine, and mind-altering substances. Now I’m in a place where I don’t need to use anything and I feel emotions because I choose to. On learning lessons: “I never want to be close to losing everything I worked for and aspired to have my whole life. I’ve made some dreadful mistakes but learned from them - that has probably saved my life.” On drugs: “I was only aware of cocaine because of my dad. I was terrified of it. But I tried it because I was stubborn, stupid and wanted to see what it was like. It’s not something I ever want to do again. It made me feel like s**t. It became uninteresting to me. I’m hyper anyway and I have that kind of personality, so I don’t need something like that.” On the reason for rehab: “The first time I checked myself in because I had taken Ambien. It’s a sleeping aid but it makes you hallucinate.I’d run a bath and fallen asleep on the floor and it overflowed. When I woke up, I was so scared I called my therapist and said, ‘Can I just go somewhere for a month? I’m around bad people and I need to take care of myself.’ I was terrified, so I put my name in.” This girl is in need of some serious help.
