Dane previously told the mag his wife wanted to “wait to see [the baby]” before picking a name. “You want to make sure that the name sticks.”

Conan O’Brien is putting his new-found free time to good use. The former Tonight Show host announced a 30-city theater tour on Thursday. Conan’s sidekick Andy Richter will join him on the road, along with his Tonight Show band for the appearances which he promises will be “a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.” The tour kicks off April 12 in Eugene, OR. In January, O’Brien quit the Tonight Show instead of taking NBC’s offer to push his start time back by a half-hour. Since then he hasn’t announced any future plans for another television spot. “It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house,” he joked. The third season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is sure to be more dramatic than ever–first with the news of Kim’s newest love interest, and now NeNe’s son! Bryson Bryant, the eldest son of NeNe Leakes was arrested March 7 on a marijuana possession charge, and placed in an Atlanta area jail. Bryant appeared in the first season of the hit Bravo show, and was seen looking at colleges with NeNe. The eccentric housewife released a statement about her son’s arrest, and called the situation a “family issue.” “Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner.” “My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse,” Leakes continued. “I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.” NeNe also took to her Twitter page to speak out about the incident: “Morning! I know my parenting job is NEVER DONE but TOUGH LOVE is ordered by the JUDGE! The judge [in] this case is ME. My head is up & held high this morning because I KNOW the parent that i’am! U hate 4 yo kids 2 make mistakes! TOUGH LOVE this morning.” Leakes is expected to appear on Bravo’s Watch What Happens live on Thursday night–we expect she’ll have speak her mind there too!

Former CBS producer, Robert “Joe” Halderman, who was accused of trying to blackmail comedian David Letterman , has plead guilty. Halderman was charged with second-degree grand larceny on Tuesday, and will face six months in jail, five years probation and 1,000 hours of community service. “This is a serious sentence that properly reflects the crimes that Mr. Halderman has now admitted that he committed, and it is a fitting end to the case,” Letterman’s lawyer, Daniel J. Horwitz said in a statement. During an episode of The Late Show with David Letterman last October, the host admitted to affairs with female staff members, and revealed the extortion plot against him. Halderman, a CBS employee for 27 years, confessed to trying to extort $2 million from Letterman in exchange for staying quiet about the affairs. “I would like to thank the District Attorney of Manhattan, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., the former District Attorney, Robert M. Morgenthau, the Special Prosecutions Bureau in the D.A.’s Office and the New York City Police Department,” Letterman said in a statement after Tuesday’s hearing.

  A man named Dannez Hunter is suing Quentin Tarantino for allegedly stealing his idea for Kill Bill. Hannez claims that back in 1999 he submitted a treatment to Miramax about a character named Ren who witnesses her mother’s murder, specifically the knife through her abdomen, etc. He also claims that he applied for a job at Miramax but “was never given a return phone call, as numerous similar situated less qualified Jewish and White people were bestowed job after job after job.” He wants over a million dollars, saying he was denied royalties in the Kill Bill series. Wasn’t Kill Bill based on ideas from a Japanese film? Good luck with this lawsuit, pal!

Betty White fans’ prayers have been answered. The Golden Girl alum confirmed to People that she will be appearing on Saturday Night Live in the near future. Although just a few weeks ago Betty, 88, called the idea “ridiculous,” she confirmed the news at Elton John’s annual Oscar bash Sunday night telling the mag, “Yes. I don’t know why or how” adding the support’s been “wonderful.” After appearing in one of the biggest Super Bowl commercial’s of the year, a Facebook page was launched, serving as a petition to land Betty a hosting gig–it scored over a million fans! It is still unknown when White will appear on SNL , although Entertainment Weekly has speculated that she may appear in a  “Women of Comedy” episode alongside former cast members, Tina Fey , Molly Shannon and Amy Poehler .
